Chocolate & Banana Milkshake (and Lollies)

We have been feeling the heat recently (and loving it!) so experimenting with flavours for making delicious smoothies/shakes and lollies makes perfect sense.

Raw cacao is chocolate in its purest form, without sugar and other additives. It is rich in minerals & immune boosting antioxidants and does not cause the blood sugar spike of most shop bought alternatives. It is a brilliant product to add to your storecupboard and experiment with. Bananas are great source of potassium & soluble fibre, and dates are helpful for digestive health.

This makes a fab, silky smoothie or a yummy lolly and takes just seconds to blitz up and make.

Serves 2 glasses or 3-4 lollies

1 banana,

2 or 2 dates,

1 tbsp raw cacao powder

150ml Koko coconut milk (or other milk),

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Method:

Blend all until well combined. Either serve as a delicious drinks or as a refreshing lolly by pouring into your moulds and freezing until set.
